Async jobs and webhooks, TikTok search filters, a complete MCP server
Long videos now run as async jobs that can call your webhook when they finish, TikTok search gained TikTok-side sorting and date windows, the MCP server now covers the whole online-video API, and past billing periods are kept so you can review what you consumed.
Permalink- APIThe VidNavigator MCP server now covers the whole online-video API: TikTok keyword search and profile scraping, transcription and extraction of videos of any length as background tasks your agent polls, uploaded files, per-call usage, and a max_results cap on YouTube search.
- FixA transcript that still cannot be fetched after every retry now returns 404 transcript_unavailable instead of a 500, so SDKs stop retrying it. Age gates, login walls and geo-blocks are reported precisely.
- PlatformThe API key usage dialog in the studio now breaks requests down per endpoint over the last 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. Async submissions, status polls and account management calls are left out, so the figures and the average response time reflect the requests that actually do work.
- FixFixed /analyze/file returning an empty summary, and stopped the extraction APIs from occasionally reporting a valid schema as invalid.
- APISynchronous /transcribe and /extract/video now accept media up to 10 minutes. Longer media returns video_too_long, with no transcription charged, and points you to the async endpoint, which has no limit.
- APIAsync jobs now check your credit balance when you submit them, so a job you cannot pay for is refused upfront instead of failing later. A video we could not reach is no longer reported as removed.
- APITikTok search and profile tasks now accept webhook_url, and failed tasks return a machine-readable error object with a code and HTTP status.
- APILaunched async jobs for /transcribe, /extract/video and /tweet/statement: submit to the /async endpoint, get a task_id right away, then poll for the result or receive it on a webhook. You can set a default webhook in Studio → API. Deliveries are signed and retried.
- PlatformWhen TikTok refuses a request, it is now retried through a residential route instead of failing. That extra step is billed as a residential request, and only when it happens.
- FixPremieres that have not started, Instagram posts with only images, and private TikToks now fail straight away with a clear 4xx instead of being retried. Premieres return video_not_yet_available, so you can retry them later.
- PlatformVimeo videos work again, with no account or login required.
- FixFixed Dailymotion requests that started failing with a 401 after a few hours.
- BillingCancelling a subscription now closes and archives its final billing period, so your dashboard no longer shows it as the current one.
- BillingA billing lookup that fails now returns a clear service error instead of reporting "insufficient credits", so a transient fault is no longer mistaken for an empty balance.
- BillingClosed billing periods are now archived instead of wiped, so you can review what you consumed in previous months rather than only the current one.
- APITightened API-key handling: keys left without an owning account are rejected at authentication, and internal error text is no longer echoed back in responses.
Privacy controls, new pricing, steadier endpoints
Shipped self-serve data export and account deletion with a deny-by-default cookie consent banner, repriced plans and credit packs while grandfathering every existing subscriber, and fixed the main causes of transcription failures.

Enterprise organizations, unified transcript endpoint
Launched multi-user enterprise organizations with shared channels, files and API keys plus per-member usage, standardized transcript retrieval into a single endpoint, and added per-call usage disclosure to the API.

Launched asynchronous TikTok profile scraping and keyword search, returning structured video data with optional signed JSON downloads.
