Biography

Aziz Mezlini is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of VidNavigator AI. He holds a PhD in Machine Learning from the University of Toronto and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School. With more than 15 years of experience applying AI to health, biology, and now video, Aziz leads product and research at VidNavigator, translating advances in speech-to-text, semantic search, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) into practical, production-grade APIs. He is also the founder of carthalis.ca.
